About me

Learning has always been key to me, from working in academic research to managing public workshops and events at a nonprofit organization. I’m passionate about helping people learn by creating designs that center people first, whether it’s enhancing the readability of graphs in my scientific manuscript, writing and drawing out study guides to further my understanding of my Master’s thesis research topic, designing fun activity booklets to help children learn about the natural world around them, or creating infographic flyers and materials to promote events. My goal is to make my designs accessible and intuitive - a product that works for all groups of people and a product that is enjoyable to use is a successful product.

If I am not managing events at work at the botanical garden in San Francisco, working on experiments in the laboratory at San Francisco State University, or seated at my desk working on furthering my design skills, you can most likely find me outdoors with my camera, in the kitchen baking desserts for family and friends, at a local park picnicking with loved ones, or curled up at home with my guitar and a good book.
